About The Position
The function/mission of the Enrollment Center is to extend Mayville State University's promise of personal service to prospective on-campus first year and transfer students and parents, as well as online students by providing face-to-face and virtual tours and recruitment visits, attending college fairs, visiting high schools and community colleges, and holding outreach events and visit days for prospective students. The Enrollment Center collaborates with academic divisions, athletic coaches and teams, and campus departments to assist with recruitment events and activities. The purpose of this position is to serve prospective students, parents, staff, and others with information about the institution and its services. This position serves as a representative for functions related to the recruitment of students. The Enrollment Specialist contributes to the daily functions of the Enrollment Center to reach enrollment goals. This position assists in enhancing the prospective student experience and provides student-centered services. The Enrollment Specialist is responsible for utilizing the TargetX CRM and student records system to generate detailed reports on application activity for institutional evaluation and annual report data. The position requires frequent phone contact interaction with applicants, university administrators and departments to provide pertinent application information, working as a member of a team, and flexibility. Strong customer service skills, great attention to detail, experience with data reports, and the ability to work in a variety of operating systems.
