About The Position

Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Vermont is looking for an Enrollment Services Analyst to join our Enrollment Services team. COMPENSATION: The hourly range for this position is $18-21. Additional compensation opportunities and incentives will be detailed during the interview process. Please note that the range listed above is our good faith estimate of the hiring range for this role. If you are hired at Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Vermont, your final base salary compensation will be determined based on factors such as skills, competencies, education, experience, and internal equity across the current team. LOCATION: Blue Cross has transitioned to a hybrid workplace where employees within driving distance of our Berlin, VT office work Wednesdays in the office with flexibility to work remotely the rest of the week. This position requires on-site attendance on Wednesdays and 5 days a week during training which will last approximately 6 weeks.

Requirements

  • High school graduate or equivalent with 1-3 years of either office bookkeeping experience, balance sheet account reconciliation, or insurance experience is desired
  • Computer literacy and strong typing skills a necessity
  • Proven ability to multitask, problem solve, and work independently.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, customer-oriented, and patience

Nice To Haves

  • Prior Customer service experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Provide outstanding customer service with first call resolution and must maintain excellent relationships with our non-group, group customers as well as brokers and vendors
  • Maintain a high level of quality by entering new individual membership enrollment and all subsequent group and membership changes to the system file
  • Maintain regular contact with other departments across divisional as well as external vendors
