About The Position

The mission of our schools is to educate responsible citizen scholars for success in a college of their choice and a life of active citizenship. Core to achieving this mission is the aspect of parent choice. Our Enrollment Manager manages and executes the student recruitment tactics and community outreach work needed to fill seats for the Democracy Prep Public Schools network. With a strong understanding of the communities where Democracy Prep operates, the Enrollment Manager implements efforts to find families to apply to, and register in, our schools. In addition to new scholar recruitment, the Enrollment Manager will work in tight partnership with the CMO Operations Team and school based operations teams to ensure that all enrollment systems are executed excellently to drive student belonging and keep scholars within the Democracy Prep family. You are an organized manager that utilizes your subject-matter expertise to partner with teams, schools, and other leaders to develop strong systems and solutions. You have the ability to reflect on school-facing systems using varied data from diverse sources, and build recommendations for adjustment where necessary You have experience in community organizing, marketing, and charter school student recruiting and enrollment (preferred) and are a graduate of a Bachelor’s degree program (required). What You’ll Do : New Student Recruitment In collaboration with the Director of Enrollment, coordinate enrollment efforts, including but not limited to day-to-day enrollment processes, enrollment campaigns, and enrollment events. Design impactful enrollment campaigns that drive new families to Democracy Prep. Leverage data and family survey results to tailor messaging to families Work in close partnership with the Canvas Team Lead to train and coach canvassing team, while also participating in our canvassing efforts. Support with and lead at enrollment events such as school fairs and Open House events. Complete other enrollment and marketing related tasks as designated by the Director of Enrollment and Community Affairs. Enrollment System Design & Current Scholar Retention Craft and deliver professional development for school-based operations teams throughout the enrollment cycle. Manage our application portal and SchoolMint, and evaluate enrollment systems to ensure ease of use from all stakeholders; build recommendations for improvement in processes to the Director of Enrollment where necessary. Serve as a central point of contact for school-based operations teammates as they execute enrollment efforts for their campuses. Analyze scholar retention and withdrawal trends and support schools in creating data based action plans to drive student retention efforts Support with the design of student matriculation plans and coach schools on execution to ensure a smooth transition between Democracy Prep campuses

Requirements

• Graduate of a Bachelor’s degree program strongly preferred
• At least 3 years of experience in enrollment management in a school setting preferred
• Written and spoken proficiency in Spanish required
• A strong relationship builder with excellent interpersonal skills, a proven ability to connect with community members from a variety of backgrounds
• A data driven leader who applies context knowledge and subject matter expertise to analyze trends and make strategic decisions.
• A strong communicator (written and oral) who adapts to fit the needs of the audience in order to build a sense of shared purpose and progress forward.

Nice To Haves
