The Enrollment Coordinator at Northwest Florida State College plays a crucial role in supporting the institution's mission by managing various aspects of the enrollment process. This position is directly accountable to the Associate Director of Academic Records and Enrollment and is responsible for ensuring that all General College Admissions applications are processed accurately and efficiently. The Enrollment Coordinator will verify application data to meet the College's data integrity standards, determine student status, and communicate admission decisions to prospective students. Additionally, the role involves processing appeal forms related to enrollment policies, audit requests, and incoming post-secondary transcripts, ensuring that all documentation is handled in compliance with the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA). The Enrollment Coordinator will also maintain the transfer course equivalency matrix within the College's Student Information System (SIS) and assist in verifying the accreditation of educational institutions from which students seek to transfer credits. This position requires a proactive approach to assist faculty, staff, and students in understanding enrollment policies and resolving any issues that may arise. The Enrollment Coordinator will represent the College at various meetings and events, contributing to cross-training efforts with Records Coordinators and completing mandatory compliance training as required. The role is essential in fostering a positive enrollment experience for students and ensuring adherence to state statutes regarding residency and tuition waivers.
