About The Position

The Enrollment and Eligibility Specialist provides patients, patients' family, and community residents with vital information and linkages to affordable care and appropriate health benefits — including enrollment assistance for insurance programs, such as Covered California, Medi-Cal. Provides information about programs and services available to the community that foster community health and wellness for the residents of Southeast Los Angeles.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 2 years of work experience in the medical field, preferred.
• Bilingual English/Spanish, preferred.
• Knowledge of Medical terminology, preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide patients and their families with information about affordable care and health benefits.
• Assist with enrollment for insurance programs like Covered California and Medi-Cal.
• Inform the community about available programs and services that promote health and wellness.
