The Enrollment and Eligibility Specialist provides patients, patients’ family, and community residents with vital information and linkages to affordable care and appropriate health benefits — including enrollment assistance for insurance programs, such as Covered California, Medi-Cal. Provides information about programs and services available to the community that foster community health and wellness for the residents of Southeast Los Angeles.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- 2 years of work experience in the medical field, preferred.
Nice To Haves
- Bilingual English/Spanish, preferred.
- Knowledge of Medical terminology, preferred.
Responsibilities
- The Enrollment and Eligibility Specialist provides patients, patients’ family, and community residents with vital information and linkages to affordable care and appropriate health benefits — including enrollment assistance for insurance programs, such as Covered California, Medi-Cal.
- Provides information about programs and services available to the community that foster community health and wellness for the residents of Southeast Los Angeles.
