The Admissions team is an energetic and fast-paced environment where we rely heavily on current technologies to meet the demands of the Information School and our constituencies. Reporting to the Director of Admissions, the Enrollment Advising Manager leads the prospective student advising team and supervises the Enrollment Advisors, focused on the school’s graduate degree programs. The Manager works closely with the Director of Admissions, academic program teams, and other staff to ensure the school is represented in an engaging and accurate manner throughout the recruitment process. The Manager is also responsible for collecting and reporting qualitative data about our programs’ recruitment process, deepening our understanding of competitiveness in market, alignment to students’ goals, and prospective students’ general fit with each program’s admission requirements. This feedback is used to inform and improve our website, advertising efforts, curriculum and program design, among other program elements. Position Complexities The Information School Enrollment Advising Manager regularly exercises discretion and independent decision-making authority. This position represents the Information School and leads the strategy for and delivery of engagement with approximately 12,000 prospective students a year. The position requires the ability to work in a high-volume, dynamic, and sometimes stressful environment. The position involves quickly determining priorities while managing a number of activities and workstreams simultaneously. This position requires a flexible work schedule, with occasional weekend and evening hours, and the need to travel for student recruitment activities.
