About The Position

Mater Private Hospital Redlands are currently seeking Enrolled Nurses to join our Casual Pool team. Availability and flexibility are of great importance to the Casual Talent Pool community. To be eligible for this opportunity you will have the ability to work a minimum of 2 shifts per week on varying shifts as advised across a 24/7 period. This position offers our EN's the opportunity to be exposed to different areas of Redlands Mater Private Hospital and gain valuable experience. Mater Private Hospital Redland has been supporting Brisbane's Bayside community since 2000 and is Redland Shire's only private hospital facility. Located in the suburb of Cleveland, the 60-bed hospital features 2 operating theatres and a wide range of specialised surgical and medical services, from women’s health and urology through to ophthalmology, neurology and orthopaedics. Salary range: $35.92 - $38.21 per hour plus superannuation and access to not-for-profit salary packaging up to $15,900 + access to many staff benefits! As a Casual Pool Enrolled Nurse, you will provide high standard of patient centred nursing care. Enrolled Nurse core responsibilities are supporting patients in the activities of daily living, assisting in meeting basic human needs and recognising the normal and abnormal assessment, intervention and evaluation of patient health and functional status with ongoing communication with VMOs, Allied Health professionals and team members within the unit.

Requirements

  • Current AHPRA registration (without restrictions)
  • Minimum 12 months post graduate nursing
  • Experience working within an acute hospital environment
  • Flexibility to perform in various wards, adaptability to seamlessly integrate into different teams and work under different NUMs
  • Consistent availability to complete shifts at short notice
  • Commitment to excellence in nursing practice and professional development
  • Demonstrated ability to work well within a multidisciplinary team
  • Basic computer skills and proven ability to use health information systems
