The Enrichment Volunteer and Outreach Specialist is responsible for managing volunteers, overseeing enrichment administrative needs, and ensuring the program facilities are well-maintained. This role requires a high school diploma and at least two years of relevant administrative or volunteer experience. The specialist must demonstrate confidence and the ability to work independently with children, youth, young adults, and volunteers. A key aspect of the position involves overseeing the processing of volunteer applications and maintaining accurate and confidential records. The specialist will also be responsible for managing volunteer files and ensuring compliance with agency and audit standards. In addition to administrative duties, the specialist will serve as the communication lead for onboarding new volunteers and maintaining relationships within the mentorship program. This includes maintaining a database of volunteers and in-kind donors, tracking enrichment activities, and providing regular reports on these activities. The specialist must ensure that all interactions with clients, donors, volunteers, and vendors are handled with excellence and adhere to established standards and policies. Furthermore, the role requires the maintenance of all required training within specified timeframes and the upkeep of the facility to ensure it is in excellent condition. The Enrichment Volunteer and Outreach Specialist is also expected to attend designated fundraising and program events, contributing to the overall success of the organization’s outreach and volunteer initiatives.
