The Enrichment Teacher in a K–12 therapeutic setting is responsible for designing and delivering engaging, trauma-informed enrichment activities that support students’ academic, social-emotional, and behavioral development. This role enhances the therapeutic school environment by offering structured, creative, and skill-building opportunities tailored to the unique needs of students across all grade levels. The Enrichment Teacher will plan and implement developmentally appropriate enrichment activities for K–12 students in areas such as art, PE, music, STEM. The Mill Pond Schools, with locations in Springfield and the Berkshires, serve students—kindergarten through age 22—who have social-emotional and/or behavioral challenges, a learning disability, or who may have a diagnosis of high-functioning Autism. We are committed to serving the whole child, including the child’s family. Our goal is to assist students in developing the skills necessary to successfully return to a less-restrictive environment, and, ultimately, to their previous school setting.
