This position is intended for the 2025-2026 school year.
Requirements
College-level experience in education or a related field (psychology, sociology, etc.) with supporting experience preferred (school support staff, summer camp counselor, daycare facility, etc.).
CPR/AED/First Aid training or the ability to be trained
Valid Drivers License
Responsibilities
Planning and implementing activities in enrichment. Such topics could include arts and crafts, STEM, team building, cooperative games, traditional sports, board games, etc. Activities can be based on the student's interests and the teacher's passion.
Assisting with daily student attendance
Supervising students in unstructured settings such as hallways, cafeteria, recess, etc.
Assisting in the clean-up and organization of EDP spaces and utility closets
Interacting appropriately and professionally with students to maintain their engagement in the program
Interacting professionally with parents, students, and co-workers
Maintain a positive, friendly, and welcoming attitude
Respect children's confidentiality in all interactions with staff, parents, and the school community
Creating an orderly space while using a positive and consistent approach to behavior management
Sharing observations with the Head Teacher and the Director regarding program concerns
Attending staff meetings, training, field trips, and special events as needed
Other duties as assigned by the Head Teacher, Assistant Director, or Director
