The Enhancement Field Manager is responsible for overseeing labor and materials in the field to complete assigned enhancement projects in landscape maintenance. This role focuses on developing team members, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget, and maintaining low turnover rates among assistants and crew members. The manager collaborates with other field managers to achieve the branch's overall goals.

  • Develop a clear understanding of the company's operational philosophies and branch goals.
  • Foster relationships with team members to aid their development within the company.
  • Set and monitor goals for team members through evaluations.
  • Participate in training processes by attending or conducting certification training sessions.
  • Plan, schedule, and supervise daily production activities for assigned enhancements.
  • Understand and monitor hourly and cost budgets for each job.
  • Communicate budget hours to assistants and crew members.
  • Meet clients on every job to ensure satisfaction.
  • Inspect job quality at the end of each day and obtain completion forms.
  • Sell additional services through T&M tickets.
  • Maintain assigned vehicles and equipment in good working order.
  • Complete daily time entry for crew members.
  • Demonstrated skill in organizing and scheduling projects.
  • Experience managing others at some level.
  • Ability to work with service customers effectively.
  • At least one year of experience in enhancement or landscape installation work in a commercial setting.
  • Two or four-year horticultural or related degrees with two years of industry experience, or equivalent experience/certifications.
  • Experience in making hard and live material purchases and negotiating prices.
  • Basic computer operation skills.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills in English.
  • Valid Class A commercial driver's license with a clean record over the last three years.
