Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Fluent in English: reading, speaking, writing.
  • Minimum 2 years experience with engraving or embossing machinery.
  • Intermediate level of desktop computer skills.
  • Able to perform basic math computations: adding, subtracting, multiplying, division, measurements.
  • Experience with Warehouse Management systems; SAP experience a strong plus.
  • Autonomous, organized, and rigorous in a fast paced environment.
  • Able to demonstrate attention to detail.
  • Flexibility in terms of work schedule. Attendance is required for scheduled shifts. Overtime during peak periods.
  • Ability to work well in a team environment.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with local teams and external support teams and Maisons.
  • Ability to perform tasks consistently and accurately.

Responsibilities

  • Review all engraving and embossing orders and apply appropriate method to personalize luxury product according to client and Maison specifications.
  • Assess product design and reference Maison engraving and embossing specifications (i.e choosing font per Maison catalog, proper placement of engraving/embossing).
  • Organize workflow to meet outbound and processing speed metrics.
  • Maintain and operate all machinery effectively and safely. Determine and adjust machine settings for accuracy, reproduction and repeatability purposes.
  • Measure and compute dimensions of lettering/design for proper placement and alignment.
  • Register incoming and completed work via SAP system.
  • Communicate strongly and timely with Maisons on engraving and embossing inquiries.
  • Assess custom designs and logos for engraving feasibility and quality.
  • Create mock-ups to share with Maisons and clients for design approval.
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to 5S expectations.
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures; follow department training guidelines, best practices and operating procedures.
  • Perform standing and or walking work throughout an 8-12 work shift while meeting performance target expectations.
  • Climb stairs, bend, twist, step, stoop, reach, lift, pull and push.
  • Physically move merchandise weighing up to 30 pounds on a regular basis without assistance and items heavier than 30 pounds on an occasional basis with assistance.
