About The Position

The English Teacher at IMG Academy is responsible for creating, implementing, and delivering core content curriculum in a classroom setting. This role focuses on fostering an educational atmosphere that promotes intellectual, physical, and psychological growth among students, particularly student-athletes. The teacher will engage students in meaningful learning experiences while maintaining discipline and effective communication with all stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in relevant subject area.
• Strong classroom management skills.
• Highly organized and flexible in meeting the needs of boarding students and their families.
• Ability to create lesson plans for a diverse student population.
• Technologically savvy.

• Experience working with student athletes.
• NCAA compliance experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide an educational atmosphere for students to fulfill their potential for growth.
• Create and implement instructional activities that engage students in meaningful learning experiences.
• Update and maintain necessary records accurately as required by laws and school regulations.
• Identify, select, and modify instructional resources to meet diverse student needs.
• Maintain discipline in accordance with school rules and disciplinary systems.
• Communicate effectively with students, parents, and other professionals.
• Model professional and ethical standards in interactions with students and the community.
• Ensure continuous and appropriate student growth and achievement.
• Regularly communicate necessary information regarding student progress and needs to stakeholders.
• Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and business ethics codes.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
