Requirements

• Demonstrate enthusiasm for learning and child development
• Previous teaching experience
• Speak, read, and write English fluently

• K-5 teaching experience

Responsibilities

• Creating a safe and nurturing and welcoming learning environment for students.
• Preparing fun and engaging lesson plans geared towards hands-on learning.
• Setting classroom rules and expectations using positive discipline.
• Teaching according to the Spanish Schoolhouse curriculum and preparing students for academic success.
• Helping each child reach their full potential through individualized attention with a focus on engaging them in conversation and hands-on learning.
• Documenting children’s daily activities and developmental growth, and keeping parents informed of progress.
• Maintaining positive relationships and communication with students, parents, and team members at all times.
