About The Position

The English Learner (EL) Paraprofessional at Morgan City Junior High School is responsible for supporting students who are learning English as a second language. This role involves working closely with teachers to assist in the implementation of instructional strategies that cater to the needs of English learners. The paraprofessional will help create a welcoming and inclusive environment for all students, ensuring that they have the resources and support necessary to succeed academically.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience working with children, preferably in an educational setting.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to work collaboratively with teachers and staff.

• Bilingual skills, especially in Spanish.

Responsibilities
