Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Instruct K-5 students in small group settings to assist with listening, speaking, reading, writing, and general academic content Conference and collaborate regularly with classroom teachers, administrators, and the other ELL teachers regarding effective instruction and policy Administer and coordinate state mandated testing (e.g. ACCESS) and initial student placement tests (e.g. W-APT, IPT) for district Maintain student files with appropriate documents Have familiarity with RETELL, WIDA, and ACCESS Attend professional development in the area of ELL Communicate regularly with families in a culturally sensitive way Perform other duties as directed by the Principals Substitute Handbook
