About The Position

We are hiring an English (ESL) Language Teacher to provide in-person, customized lessons to our client in Katy. Job Information: Ref. C196119: The student is a 7-year-old child Location: The student's home in Katy, Texas (ZIP code: 77494) Availability: Tuesday and Thursday at 6 pm Frequency: 2x week, 60 minutes per session Current English level: Novice Native language: Portuguese Student's language needs and goals: Getting fluent in English. Working on Writing skills for school. Additional information: He studies English at school, but is not fluent. He knows some vocabulary. / He doesn't like to do homework. He loves talking and participating in school activities. / He likes soccer, superheroes, science, cars, and Lego.
Requirements
- To have native or near-native written and spoken proficiency in English
- To have a degree in language teaching, education, instructional design, writing, language, linguistics, second language acquisition, or a related field
- To have a minimum of two years of English as a second language teaching experience
- Experience teaching children is a must
