About The Position

Federally designated as a senior military college, one of the university's signature leadership programs is its 800-member Corps of Cadets on UNG's Dahlonega Campus. Job Summary We are seeking an experienced English Language Teacher for a temporary position from January 20, 2026, to February 13, 2026. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching English conversation to a class of 15 students. The classes will be conducted every day, Monday to Friday, between 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM.

Requirements

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to tailor teaching methods to accommodate diverse learning styles.
  • Bachelor's degree in English, Education, Linguistics, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in teaching English to non-native speakers, preferably in a classroom setting.
  • Familiarity with language acquisition methodologies and educational technology.
  • Availability from January 20, 2026, to February 13, 2026.
  • Commitment to working hours from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM (Monday to Friday, with a daily schedule of approximately 3 hours that varies).

Responsibilities

  • English Language Instruction: Deliver high-quality English language instruction to a diverse group of 18 students.
  • Curriculum Development: Develop and implement engaging and effective lesson plans that align with the language learning goals of the students.
  • Assessment and Feedback: Evaluate student performance, provide constructive feedback, and assess progress through various means, including tests, assignments, and class participation.
  • Classroom Management: Create a positive and inclusive learning environment conducive to effective language acquisition.
  • Communication: Maintain open and effective communication with students, colleagues, and relevant stakeholders.
