The University of North Georgia is seeking an experienced English Language Teacher for a temporary position from January 20, 2025, to February 7, 2025. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching English language to a class of 15 students. The classes will be conducted every day, Monday to Friday, during the morning hours from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM.

  • Deliver high-quality English language instruction to a diverse group of 18 students.
  • Develop and implement engaging and effective lesson plans that align with the language learning goals of the students.
  • Evaluate student performance, provide constructive feedback, and assess progress through various means, including tests, assignments, and class participation.
  • Create a positive and inclusive learning environment conducive to effective language acquisition.
  • Maintain open and effective communication with students, colleagues, and relevant stakeholders.
  • Bachelor's degree in English, Education, Linguistics, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in teaching English to non-native speakers, preferably in a classroom setting.
  • Familiarity with language acquisition methodologies and educational technology.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to tailor teaching methods to accommodate diverse learning styles.
