About The Position

The State College Area School District is currently accepting applications for an anticipated English & Language Arts Teacher at the Delta High School. Delta High School is a democratic school within SCASD that focuses on building community amongst students, parents, and school staff. Delta focuses on students taking ownership and responsibility for their educational experience. The ability to establish relationships with students and collaborate with colleagues is critical to success in this position. The successful candidate must demonstrate a commitment to diversity and recognize that equity and inclusivity are foundational to ensuring every student has opportunities to grow, thrive and fulfill their potential through caring, responsive education. The District seeks dynamic, energetic educators who are student-focused and have knowledge of both theory and practice specific to the education of high school learners.
