About The Position
The Secondary Classroom Teacher is responsible for implementing instruction in the assigned subject area(s) in a manner that fosters attainment of each student's maximum potential. This position reports to the Building Principal and is classified as a professional role with an exempt wage/hour status. The teacher will work for 188 days and is subject to a probationary/term contract. The role requires adherence to the district's philosophy of instruction and the development of lesson plans that fulfill the requirements of the district's curriculum program.
