About The Position

We are seeking a passionate, dedicated, and highly qualified ELA Middle School Teacher to join our instructional team. The ideal candidate will foster a positive classroom environment, deliver engaging lessons aligned with state standards, and support students' academic and personal growth during this pivotal stage of learning.

Requirements

• Must meet the certification requirements set forth by the Louisiana Department of Education and/or the Louisiana Board of Elementary & Secondary Education at the time of employment. (See Bulletin 746)
• Bachelor's degree in Education (K-12, or 4-8) from an accredited college/university or a related field
• Knowledge of Tier I Louisiana Curriculum and core academic subjects
• Strong classroom management and instructional skills
• Ability to build strong relationships with middle school learners
• Proficiency in integrating digital tools into teaching and learning
• Completion of one year of student teaching or an approved internship

Nice To Haves

• Master's degree or advanced coursework in education or in a related discipline is preferred
• Valid Louisiana teaching certificate with appropriate endorsements
• Prior successful teaching experience is highly desirable
