This posting is for a 0.8 FTE at Bothell High School. Applicant must be endorsed in ELA and ELD with valid WA Certificate. Position is non continuing for the remainder of the 25/26 SY. Job Summary : A classroom teacher fosters and manages a positive learning environment; develops and implements classroom lesson plans based on standards and general district guidelines; establishes learning objectives; provides instruction; uses research-proven strategies and multiple data elements to adjust instruction; sets high expectations for student achievement; counsels, disciplines, and supervises students; evaluates student performance and progress. FTE & Salary : 0.8 FTE; 2025-26 Northshore Education Association (NSEA) Salary Schedule Placement on the salary schedule is determined by official documentation verifying educational level and certificated work experience. Salary will be prorated for less than a full-year and/or part-time employees FLSA: Exempt.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree along with the completion of a teacher's preparation program and endorsement skills examinations.
  • Valid Washington State Teaching Certificate with the following endorsement(s): ELA and ELD
  • Candidates who are new to the profession or moving from out of state, may apply if anticipated to obtain certification prior to the position start date.
