About The Position

Speak is on a mission to reinvent the way people learn languages, starting with English, Spanish, and French. We aim to make language learning accessible by creating an AI-powered experience that replicates conversation flow, allowing users to practice speaking without needing a human partner. Our app has quickly become the top grossing education app in South Korea and is expanding to over 40 countries globally. We are looking for Native Italian and English speakers to support our director and bilingual actor during rehearsals and shoots for our app-based video lessons in our LA studio.

Requirements

• Native proficiency in both Italian and English
• A neutral Italian accent
• Expert level of reading comprehension
• Strong sense of responsibility and professionalism
• Bright and positive vibes
• Ability to coordinate and take directions
• Live in Los Angeles and have access to transportation
• Those who learned Italian in high school or college will not qualify.

Nice To Haves

• Experience working with a teleprompter
• Experience in teaching a second language

Responsibilities

• Read scripts from the teleprompter in both Italian and English to monitor the actor’s reading performance.
• Guide the actor and assist the director during script reading rehearsals.
