About The Position
The Department of English at Middle Tennessee State University invites applicants for three full-time, temporary (non-tenurable) faculty positions (#123030, #123125, and #123210) at the rank of lecturer. These are one-year temporary appointments. The lecturer's contract may be renewed annually based on available funding, demonstrated need, and satisfactory performance as assessed by annual evaluations. The start date for the appointments is August 1, 2025. Successful candidates will teach courses such as first-year writing and general education literature as needed to satisfy a full-time teaching workload every year.
