About The Position

Antares Denver is seeking dedicated and passionate English language instructors to join our team. The ideal candidate will have teaching experience and a strong commitment to enhancing the language skills of our diverse student body. This position requires in-person instruction. Successful instructors are well-prepared for all classes, implementing the Antares curriculum, fostering a positive learning environment that encourages student participation and interaction. They will assess students' progress and provide constructive feedback to facilitate their learning, keep accurate records, i.e., student attendance, grades, and lesson plans, and are aware of and adhere to all school policies. Instructors will collaborate with colleagues to enhance curriculum and instructional practices, participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices in language instruction, and attend instructor meetings, participating in Living Language Labs and other Center activities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution with TESL certification.
  • If no TESL certificate, willingness to seek one immediately is considered for teacher-in-training.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree in Linguistics, TEFL, ESL, or related field from an accredited institution.
  • Master’s degree in TESOL, TEFL, Linguistics, Language Education or a closely related field is strongly preferred.
  • Two years of ESL or FL teaching experience with adults.

Benefits

  • Base pay of $21/hr with a 1.2 multiplier for teaching hours, roughly $25.20/hr.
