City College of San Francisco is the region's premier public, two-year community college dedicated to serving minority and undocumented students and those new to this country. Since its founding in 1935, City College has evolved into a multicultural, multi-campus community college that is one of the largest in the country. This part-time teaching position requires the ability to instruct classes in English as a Second Language at all levels, from literacy through advanced, in credit (college level) and noncredit (adult education). Instruction will include communicative methods to develop students' skills in speaking, listening, reading, and writing. Teaching assignments can be scheduled as day, evening or weekend courses at various campuses in San Francisco or online. Availability to teach in-person in San Francisco is required.
