Our Learning Center is seeking an experienced, reliable, and enthusiastic Math/English instructor to tutor students from Kindergarten to 9th grade. This part-time, contract position offers a competitive hourly wage ranging from $21 to $25. The ideal candidate will have a passion for teaching and a commitment to helping students succeed academically. All teaching materials will be provided, allowing the instructor to focus on delivering high-quality instruction in a small group setting. The role requires the instructor to engage with students effectively, fostering a positive learning environment that encourages student participation and growth. In this position, the instructor will be responsible for teaching reading and math to students, ensuring that each lesson aligns with our teaching philosophy. The instructor will also be expected to provide excellent customer service by making authentic connections with students, parents, and colleagues. Understanding our teaching philosophy thoroughly and applying it in the classroom is essential, and training will be provided to ensure the instructor is well-prepared to meet our educational standards. This role is perfect for college students or individuals with a Bachelor's degree who are looking to gain experience in education while making a meaningful impact on students' learning journeys. The schedule is flexible, with classes held Monday to Friday, and the work location is in-person at our Learning Center in La Habra, CA.
