Roles and Responsibilities Perform product testing and debugging at both box and circuit card levels, including analog, digital, and microprocessor-based circuits Design, build, and checkout custom test equipment, including test fixtures and interfaces Use electronic test equipment with strong proficiency, including oscilloscopes, digital multimeters (DMMs), and function generators Perform fine-pitch SMT soldering (e.g., 0402, QFN, LGA/LCP, and similar packages) to a high standard of quality and reliability Assemble and disassemble test equipment and products, including rework and modification of PCBs and wiring Maintain current soldering certification and adhere to all relevant workmanship and safety standards Additional Information GE Aerospace offers a great work environment, professional development, challenging careers, and competitive compensation. Requirements

  • Associate’s degree in an Electrical / Electronics discipline from an accredited school or institution (or a High School diploma / GED with at least 2 years of electrical / electronics experience)
  • This position requires U.S. citizenship status

Nice To Haves

  • Solid understanding of active and passive electronic devices, including the ability to define required tests and acceptance criteria, select appropriate test equipment and methods, and analyze performance characteristics and identify out-of-spec behavior
  • Ability to partner with cross-functional teams to develop, refine, and deploy robust products and processes
  • Strong oral and written communication skills, including the ability to clearly document test results, issues, and recommendations
  • Ability to work with independently, manage priorities, and drive tasks to completion
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with a structured approach to root-cause analysis and corrective action
  • Working knowledge of Windows-based software tools and basic/low-level programming, ideally JTAG
  • Familiarity with computers, basic network setup, and IT/security best practices as they relate to test equipment and lab environments
  • This role requires access to U.S. export-controlled information. Therefore, employment will be contingent upon the ability to prove that you meet the status of a U.S. Person as one of the following: U.S. lawful permanent resident, U.S. Citizen, have been granted asylee or refugee status (i.e., a protected individual under the Immigration and Naturalization Act, 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3)).
