About The Position

The test technician position's primary responsibility is to ensure the functionality and compliance of Aerospace and Defense circuit card assemblies, cables, and electronics enclosures per the applicable approved test specifications. The test technician documents test results and completes all required manufacturing and test records.

Requirements

  • Test Technician position requires a minimum of five (5) years' experience in a combination of RF test and/or electrical/electronic assembly manufacturing and/or test environment.
  • A.S. Degree (Electronic Technology or similar Preferred)
  • Aerospace and Defense Electronics Testing Experience
  • J-STD-001, IPC-A-610 & 620 standards familiarity
  • Teamwork and Interpersonal Skills
  • Physically tolerate extended periods of sitting at a computer and keyboarding, frequent walking, occasional periods of standing and occasional lifting and carrying of up to 40 lbs.

Responsibilities

  • Perform Functional Test per Test Procedures
  • Set-up Test Equipment per Test Specifications
  • ESS (Thermal and vibration) Test Setup & Operation
  • Electrical /Electronics / RF Troubleshooting Skills
  • Solid Computer Skills & MS Office experience
  • Circuit Card Assembly, Cable, and Electronics Enclosure Testing and Troubleshooting
  • Strong Test Equipment Knowledge i.e., Multi-meter, Frequency Counter, Power Meter, O-scopes, etc.
  • Technical writeups of test area findings and/or improvements
  • Flying Probe test operation and development
  • Minor internal IT support
  • Participate in production and test improvement projects
  • Other duties as assigned
