Requirements

  • 5 years of experience.
  • Bachelor Degree in engineering project management or engineering technology.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • TQM methods/Six Sigma.
  • Project Management.
  • CAD/3D design.
  • Understand verbal and written safety and quality instructions and read and comprehend written work instructions including words and drawings.
  • Must have basic English written and oral communication skills adequate to communicate with other team members.

Responsibilities

  • Provides engineering support to the manufacturing group by fixing and making improvements to equipment and processes.
  • Fixes automation systems and complex sophisticated through PLC, servo, robotic, HMI/MMI, and related process control and automation systems.
  • Fixes mechanical systems associated with automation and manufacturing processes.
  • Leads large scope projects independently with minimal assistance.
  • Provides Engineering leadership within a project team which focuses on accomplishing project objectives which includes process improvements and project implementation.
  • Installs, validates, and implements medium to large scope equipment modifications and capital projects.
  • Investigates and analyzes customer problems and develops design improvement suggestions.
  • Performs hardware/software modifications, and documents system functional specification updates while adhering to documentation and change control requirements.
  • Prepares standard operating procedures for new and existing control equipment.
  • Owns the cost estimating of minor process improvements and capital budget items and the spending of approved project funds.
  • Sustain a clean and safe work area using 6S principles.
  • Learn, understand and apply meticulous quality standards, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP).
