Requirements

  • Basic knowledge of job procedures and tools obtained through work experience and may require vocational or technical education.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to lift and carry at least 40lbs.
  • Experience with basic electronic assembly tools, hand tools, and power tools.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to learn new technologies quickly.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a government security clearance.

Nice To Haves

  • Associates degree in a related technical field, or attended a formal vocational education program.
  • Experience with PNT hardware systems.
  • Knowledge of inventory management processes.
  • Knowledge of basic electrical and mechanical principles.
  • Wire harness assembly.
  • Soldering of electronic components and hardware.
  • Experience with hardware design and prototyping tools.

Responsibilities

  • Support Engineers in the design, development, modification, and improvement of products/processes.
  • Receives instruction, guidance, and direction from Engineers and higher-level team members.
  • Responsible for complex components of PNT systems and programs.
  • Plans and develops logistics program activities from conceptual stage through life cycle of the product.
  • Maintains and organizes parts, hardware systems, and equipment inventory.
  • Responsible for maintaining work areas, labs, and storage areas for cleanliness and organization.
  • Fabricate, assemble, and test PNT hardware and systems, ensuring high quality and performance.
  • Troubleshoot, inspect, test, maintain, repair, and install PNT equipment and systems.
  • Apply knowledge of basic electrical and mechanical theories to optimize hardware fabrication for PNT products.
  • Utilize power tools, hand tools, and tools associated with electronic assemblies to streamline hardware fabrication processes and ensure high reliability.
  • Performs assignments that are not completely standardized or prescribed, selects or adapts standard procedures or equipment, using fully applicable precedents.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends and apply them to enhance our products and services.
