Engineering Technician (1839)

About The Position

The Engineering Technician will provide support to the Engineering department through prompt and accurate completion of specific tasks as given by the Engineering Manager. Be available for various tasks to support the Engineers with Projects and Design work.

Requirements

Associate’s degree in engineering technology, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, a related field, or equivalent work experience.
CAD design required; SolidWorks & ERP system experience is a plus.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

Engineering Change Requests, Drawings & Design Updates, and other assignments as needed.
Assist engineers in the design, testing, and evaluation of new systems and equipment.
Perform system troubleshooting and diagnostics to identify and resolve technical issues.
Support operations by partnering with direct employees to troubleshoot issues
Track project progress and provide regular updates to engineers and other stakeholders.
Work closely with engineers and other team members to ensure the successful completion of projects.
Ensure that ‘Engineering Change Requests are handled, and necessary changes are made in a timely fashion.
Complete drawings, models, & design updates assigned based on timeline given by Manager.
Project drawings and vetting changes
Make required changes to Work Wise software as required
Will be responsible for Small Design Projects as assigned.
Other duties and projects assigned.
