As an Engineering Technician, you will play a critical role in advancing cutting-edge technology by performing Design Verification Testing (DVT) and troubleshooting sophisticated digital system assemblies to the component level. Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Typically requires a minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in electronics assembly, testing, troubleshooting & rework.
  • IPC-A-610 certification or equivalent electronics assembly certification.
  • Demonstrated expertise in component-level troubleshooting and failure analysis.
  • Proficiency with test equipment, including oscilloscopes, digital multimeters, signal generators, and specialized diagnostic tools.
  • Ability to read, interpret, and work from schematics, wiring diagrams, assembly drawings, and test procedures.
  • Ability to travel to Hudson, NH site as needed.
  • Ability to work under a microscope as needed.

Nice To Haves

  • Associates Degree in Electronics or related field is preferred.
  • Experience with Environmental Stress Screening (ESS) testing.
  • Experience with automated test systems and LabVIEW or similar platforms.
  • Background in aerospace, defense, or medical device manufacturing.

Responsibilities

  • Manage systematic troubleshooting of assemblies and systems to the subassembly, module, and component level.
  • Analyze and isolate component-level failures using digital multimeters (DMM), oscilloscopes, and other specialized test equipment.
  • Coordinate and execute Environmental testing in accordance with established protocols.
  • Work extensively with digital circuits and complex electronic systems to ensure functionality and reliability.
  • Assemble and install electronic components for product assembly per detailed instructions and wiring diagrams.
  • Inspect and validate the quality of assembled components using proper tooling and techniques.
  • Interpret and execute work from Bills of Material, engineering drawings, and schematics to ensure precise assembly.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive logs, records, and organized test data with accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Ensure documentation packages are complete and compliant with AS9100 quality standards.
  • Communicate daily status updates, technical findings, and procedure updates effectively with engineering and quality teams.
  • Document redlines and manage material flow in accordance with quality process requirements.
  • Interface with cross-functional teams including Design Engineering, Program Management, and Quality Assurance to resolve technical challenges.
  • Support training and development of junior technicians to enhance team capability and knowledge sharing.
  • Clearly communicate technical findings, issues, and recommendations to stakeholders.
