Supports various substation systems, including: SCADA, ethernet/serial communications, access control and surveillance/camera systems, performing the following activities: Manages remote firmware updates, troubleshoots issues remotely, performs remote maintenance, and creates work requests for onsite field personnel. Maintains consistent records and departmental databases related to SCADA documentation, fiber infrastructure and physical security systems. Assists in the development and maintenance of procedures and work instructions. Produces documentation and records to support regulatory (e.g. NERC CIP) and company requirements. Collaborates with internal teams, contractors and external utilities to ensure timely execution of projects and adherence to standards. Supports wiring and configuration of lab and testing setups as needed. Advances continuous improvement initiatives for data and asset management.
