About The Position

The Engineer Technician plays a crucial role in the Durable Goods Manufacturing sector by ensuring that engineering processes and systems operate efficiently and effectively. This position involves collaborating with engineers to develop, test, and implement manufacturing processes that meet quality standards and production goals. The Engineer Technician will be responsible for troubleshooting equipment and systems, providing technical support, and maintaining documentation related to engineering projects. Requirements

• Associate's degree in Engineering Technology or a related field.
• Proven experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in durable goods.
• Strong understanding of engineering principles and manufacturing processes.
• Computer savvy.
• The required skills for this position include a solid understanding of engineering principles, which will be applied daily to assist in the design and development of manufacturing processes.
• Problem-solving skills are essential, as the Engineer Technician will frequently troubleshoot equipment and processes to ensure smooth operations.
• Attention to detail is critical for conducting tests and inspections, ensuring that all products meet quality standards.
• Communication skills will be utilized to collaborate effectively with engineers and cross-functional teams, facilitating the implementation of process improvements.
• This position requires compliance with the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). Under ITAR, candidates must be a U.S. citizen, U.S. lawful permanent resident (e.g., "Green Card" holder), asylee, or refugee as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3). Nice To Haves

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field preferred but not required
• Experience with CAD software and other engineering design tools.
• Familiarity with quality control methodologies and standards.
