About The Position

Role Overview •Join a team that designs and develops test procedures and standards for highly complex products. •You will contribute to the development and certification of environmental test functionality across multiple products and applications, supporting new products, processes, and operational plans that directly impact business results. Key Responsibilities •Develop new methods, techniques, and processes •Provide customer support •Perform day-to-day testing for research, development, and qualification of actuation components •Collaborate with Mechanical Test Laboratory personnel to complete testing tasks per work instructions •Conduct functional testing and assembly operations on actuation components throughout their lifecycle •Support test operations, including setup, fabrication, operation, and maintenance ••Identify discrepancies in test units or systems and interpret test data per lab policies •Participate in process improvement activities (equipment selection, procedure generation, safety compliance) •Maintain FAA-recognized quality and regulatory stamps for compliance •Perform other related duties as required

Requirements

  • High school diploma
  • 2+ years of experience in actuation and pneumatic valve testing
  • U.S. Citizenship (due to export compliance requirements)

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of qualification processes for new product development
  • Experience with hydraulic and pneumatic systems
  • Familiarity with instrumentation and data acquisition systems
  • Practical experience with engineering equipment, especially actuation products
  • Ability to apply root cause analysis and Six Sigma principles
  • Strong technical judgment and problem-solving skills
  • Effective interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team setting
  • Self-motivated with initiative and minimal supervision
  • Ability to make timely decisions in complex situations
