Provide technical support to Production Operations and Devices Sustaining Engineering Teams by hands-on troubleshooting production equipment and processes, supporting engineering improvement projects, improving production work instructions, collecting data and images to document issues, and performing light maintenance tasks as necessary. Perform visual inspections and lot dispositions Continually expand technical skills to increase the scope of contributions

Requirements

  • Associate degree, technical diploma, or equivalent vocational training in engineering technology, electronics, mechanical, or related field; relevant experience may substitute.
  • 2–5 years of hands-on experience preferably in a manufacturing or lab environment a plus.
  • Able to Execute delicate handling tasks (thinned wafers)
  • Competence with data collection, basic statistical analysis, and technical reporting.
  • Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Detail-oriented with a quality-first mindset.
  • Self-motivated, adaptable, and able to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
  • Continuous improvement focus and willingness to learn new technologies.
  • Work primarily in cleanroom
  • Able to work Second Shift: 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM
  • Ability to lift and carry moderate loads (typically up to 25 lbs) and perform physical tasks including standing, bending, climbing, and working in confined spaces.

Responsibilities

  • Follow established procedures, maintain attention to detail, and ensure process documentation is current and accessible
  • Troubleshoot malfunctioning equipment and systems; identify root causes and implement corrective actions or escalate to engineering staff.
  • Assist in the preparation of accurate documentation including work instructions and entries into the Manufacturing Execution System.
  • Support process improvements recommend and implement efficiency, quality, and safety enhancements.
  • Perform wafer and die visual inspections (P2 VI, Final P-Side) to identify abnormal situations (mask misalignment, cleave issues, hidden splits, operator errors) and document findings
