About The Position
Guardian Glass has an opening for an Engineering Technician at our Float Glass facility located in Carleton, Michigan. An Engineering Technician keeps the equipment and facility operating reliably and takes a proactive approach to finding and solving problems then making sustainable repairs. An Engineering Technician is required to perform a wide range of troubleshooting and repair tasks throughout the facility. Successful Engineering Technicians are detail oriented with strong manual dexterity and problem-solving skills. There is a strong emphasis on recognizing how things work without extensive training on each piece of equipment that is encountered.
