About The Position

Serves as an Engineering Technician with duties related to Project Management, Project Engineering and Quality Assurance Representation (PM/PE/QA) and may concurrently be working on one or more projects at a time.

Requirements

• Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a valid state driver's license.
• Financial Disclosure Statement OGE Form 450 - This position requires pre-employment financial disclosure and annually thereafter in accordance with DoD Directive 5500-7-R.
• One year of specialized experience which includes program management of construction work in support of Military Construction, Civil Works and Interagency projects.
• Experience developing construction cost estimates, monitoring construction progress, quality, and compliance with codes, plans and specifications.
• Experience inspecting materials and workmanship to ensure quality, safety, and compliance with contractual requirements.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the overall management, control, coordination, and execution of assigned projects.
• Performs constructability review of more complex plans and specifications to determine practicability.
• Performs the full range of quality assurance functions.
• Enforces safety requirements of the contract.
