About The Position

NPI Test Bay Setup and Preventative Maintenance Sets up test bay fixtures and required facilities to test chambers. Installs correct software versions in test bay (after consulting ME) before chamber moves into test. Check HX/Chiller fill levels, PCW flow, communication cable functionality, MOXA addresses, and process kit audits. Lead the procurement and maintenance of test equipment. New Product Test Ticket Management Manage test tickets for new products on both the NPI and volume manufacturing lines, including troubleshooting, working with NPI and NPT Manufacturing Engineers, and documenting the resolution. Test Cable Assembly Assembles new test cables and jumpers for chambers, gen racks, and peripheral equipment. Supporting Manufacturing Engineers Assist MEs in carrying out projects to upgrade, deploy, repair, and correct test bays and fixtures. Document and provide important feedback to eliminate future test issues. Rework Able to assist with rework activity, such as mechanical repair, related to DMRs or part number changes. Other Requirements: This is a physically demanding position that often requires standing for extended periods of time, walking, working in tight spaces, bending, squatting, twisting, kneeling, reaching, climbing stairs and ladders, lifting, the ability to distinguish between colors, the ability to work in an environment with noise that may be difficult for some individuals with sensitivity to noise, the use of hand and power tools, and driving or operating heavy machinery including forklifts. Additionally, because this position will involve working in a clean room, the use of appropriate Personal Protective Equipment such as coveralls, hoods, booties, safety glasses, gloves, respirators, chemical aprons, and face shields may be required. Has developed advanced specialized expertise within a analytical/scientific area to perform the most complex work Has a good understanding of how related teams coordinate their efforts and resources to achieve objectives May act as a lead for the team, may allocate work and provide subject matter guidance to more junior team members Exchanges ideas and information effectively; uses tact and diplomacy when dealing with others

Requirements

  • Ability to stand for extended periods of time
