About The Position

Looking to gain valuable experience through a meaningful Engineering Technician Summer Internship? Look no further than TSI (www.tsi.com)! At TSI, you’ll be part of a real project, getting real experience! Work side by side with engineering professionals to learn to contribute on a project team. Develop an understanding of the new product development environment and how you will apply the skills you’ve acquired through your education. Work with leading edge technology to develop sophisticated electronic measurement instruments. Work with state-of-the-art development tools. Experience new product development from beginning to end not just a niche.

Requirements

• Major/Program: Electronic Technology or Robotics
• Maintain a minimum CUM 3.0 GPA (based on a 4.0 scale)
• Currently enrolled as a full-time student
• Comfortable in a lab environment
• Strong desire to learn, self-motivated
• Naturally high attention to detail, good organization skills

Responsibilities

• Construct, evaluate, and troubleshoot prototype devices
• Apply oscilloscope probing techniques
• Record test results, numerical and graphical data, and recommendations
• Read and interpret engineering drawings and schematics
• Utilize soldering skills

Benefits

• 12-week (approx.) internship program – Summer 2026
• Hourly rate of $19.00 - $20.00 per hour, depending on qualifications and experience
• Interns work approximately 40 hours each week during the internship
