About The Position

In this role as a Engineering Technician II for our Bio-Rad Woodinville, WA location, you will work on a Monday - Friday on our day shift. You will help solve technical problems, support manufacturing engineers with moderate guidance and direction. You will frequently address problems and recommend possible alternatives. Additionally, you will recommend course of action based on your knowledge, experience and company goals and successfully complete small projects with low to moderate complexity with minimal guidance.

Requirements

  • Two-year degree or college courses or equivalent hands-on industry experience.
  • 5+ years related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Technical experience in a regulated manufacturing environment (ex. pharma, medical device, life sciences).

Nice To Haves

  • CAD experience is a plus.
  • Familiarity with PLCs (programmable logical controller) preferred.
  • Hands-on experience in automating production lines is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

  • Execute engineering projects from end to end with minimal guidance and support.
  • Assist with PMs, equipment service, and installation.
  • Diagnose root cause of malfunction and perform maintenance on electronic or operational equipment.
  • Maintain system logs or manuals to document testing or operation of equipment.
  • Troubleshoot, adjust, reassemble or replace defective or improperly functioning circuitry, electronic components or other equipment.
