About The Position

The Engineering Technician II will be responsible for assembling and adjusting mechanical and opto-mechanical systems, including high precision optical and mechanical components. The role involves collaboration with engineering teams, as some tasks will include performing lower-level engineering work on PCBs.

Requirements

Experience with AutoCAD, drafting, and design.
Knowledge of AS9100 standards.
Experience in electro-mechanics or optoelectronics.
Proficiency in working with PCBs, including 18-layer boards, soldering, and fiber splicing.
Mechanical and blueprint understanding.

Nice To Haves

2+ years of experience with SMT and/or PCBA assembly equipment and processes.
4+ years of experience with SMT equipment operation in a production setting.

Responsibilities

Assemble and adjust mechanical/opto-mechanical systems.
