About The Position
Executes the assigned duties as necessary to support technical issues as required to resolve product or process problems.
Requirements
- High school education required.
- Entry level – 2+ years experience in engineering or technical environment.
Nice To Haves
- Prefer 2 years of technical education in an engineering-related field.
Responsibilities
- Assist engineer in day-to-day activities.
- Program planning and scheduling.
- Special lot generation, tracking, and documentation.
- Development of parts procedures (PESs) and routings.
- Provide technical support for Quality and Manufacturing.
- Learn the fundamentals of tooling, gating designing and efficiency, shell systems, foundry parameters, metallurgy, blueprint reading and interpretation, and statistical analysis.
- Assist in the preparation of evaluations and reports to management and customers.
- Assist in the cost reduction activities, and process improvements.
