The complex nature of the hardware creates interesting challenges. Therefore, someone with a solid understanding and innovative thinking is required to support meeting critical breakthroughs. As part of the SCG - Silicon Co-Design Group, we are responsible for productizing NVIDIA's chips into groundbreaking consumer, professional, server, mobile and automotive solutions.

Requirements

• BS degree or equivalent experience
• 5+ years of relevant industry experience
• In-depth knowledge of various motherboard platforms, SoCs, PC HW such as graphic cards, memory and storage
• Familiarity with modular and cross-platform display driver branches.
• Basic knowledge of scripting and coding is required.
• Excellent coordination and interpersonal skills to effectively convey technical information and collaborate with the team.
• Excellent problem solving, teamwork, and interpersonal skills.
• Prior experience in managing hardware, lab setups, and software issues in the lab.
• Background with handling lab tools (oscilloscopes, multimeters, logic analyzers)

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate setups, configure and maintain lab machines consisting of GPUs, CPUs and SoCs collectively call HW farm
• Setup and operate lab equipment such as scopes, thermal solutions, debugger systems, data acquisition systems as needed for testing and debug.
• Conduct sanity runs on farm systems to ensure accurate thermal and power levels before releasing to users
• Perform first level debug to isolate issues at both hardware (GPU board, motherboard and HW peripherals) and software levels (OS, Drivers, Firmware, etc.)
• Provide critical support, collaboration with infrastructure, facilities, and hardware rework lab groups
• Maintain inventory of all equipment in the farm.
