Requirements

  • High school diploma, GED or equivalent relevant work experience.
  • Typically requires 2-4 years relevant experience.
  • Experience working with detailed instructions and guidance from engineering staff
  • Communication skills

  • B.S. / B.A.
  • Preferred experiential background: Experience working in a laboratory environment or clean room
  • Communicate well with supervisor and other employees at all levels.
  • Experience with SOPs, DHRs, ECOs, GLP and GMP
  • Experience with computer applications such as excel
  • Experience with electronics assembly work or soldering

Responsibilities

  • Support instrument documentation, sustaining, training, and transfer to manufacturing
  • Works from schematics, diagrams, written and verbal descriptions, layouts or defined plans to perform testing, checkout and trouble-shooting functions
  • Perform assigned assembly or testing tasks in a consistent manner on electromechanical assemblies under minimal supervision.
  • Create or modify documents such as work instructions, data records and test methods as required.
  • Establish and maintain reports of build issues and defects.
  • Identify process discrepancies or difficulties and collaborate with Engineering teams on improvements.
  • Participate in daily or weekly meetings where tasks are assigned or monitored
