Were just built to be better. We are a great company. We are seeking an Engineering Technician 2 to join our Houston, TX team! Come join us! Job responsibilities include but are not limited to: Performs field and lab tests on soil, concrete, asphalt, and steel. Observes construction for quality control. Operates testing equipment (like nuclear gauges). Creates daily reports Ensures compliance with project specs, adhering to safety protocols for infrastructure projects. Key duties involve sampling, testing (density, strength), documenting results, calibrating tools, and communicating findings to engineers and contractors to maintain quality and safety.

Requirements

  • High School Education Required.
  • 2-4 Years inspection or technician experience.
  • Must have or be able to obtain ACI grade 1 or SB102 in 3 months.
  • Must be able to perform inspection or data entry into database systems.
  • Must be able to obtain OSHA and nuclear gauge training.
  • Must be able to read engineering plans and perform inspections in the field.
  • Ability to travel 15% of the time.
  • Must be able to lift 50 lbs on a routine basis as part of the job.
  • Must be able to work in heat and cold environments in the field.
