About The Position

The Engineering Technician will operate radiation oncology machines following protocols and procedures for engineering tests. Additionally, they will keep records of machine performance, understand and recognize the need to escalate incidents when necessary and/or request additional assistance from more tenured representatives, and develop and maintain strong relationships within the team using strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.

Requirements

• Ability to follow defined protocols.
• Proficient with PC.
• Proficient communication with team of Engineers and subject matter team members.
• Strong documentation skills.
• Minimum 0-1 years of experience.
• Minimum: HS Degree or Equivalent.
• Candidate needs to pass Radiation and High Voltage Safety Training.

Nice To Haves

• Proficient with MS Office, Excel, Outlook.
• Good record documentation.
• Familiarity with medical linear accelerator.
• Experience with radiation safety and high voltage safety.
